Flat4Audio waitlist privacy notice

Hodfords Limited, Room 13A, Man Lok Building, 93 Bonham Strand East, Sheung Wan, Hong Kong, controls the Flat4Audio waitlist. It is separate from Hodfords Solutions Limited, which controls store purchases and customer accounts. For waitlist privacy requests, email privacy@hodfords.com.

You gave your email address and chose whether to receive Flat4Audio waitlist and opening updates under notice version 2026-09-02. A pending request is not an active subscription. No marketing updates are sent until you use a confirmation link. We may send one non-promotional reminder if your request remains unconfirmed, in case the first message was missed or filtered into spam. Confirming is optional; you can ignore the reminder.

Confirmation and unsubscribe links are single-use and expire after 72 hours. Every confirmation email includes a free unsubscribe link. You may also ask us to remove your request at privacy@hodfords.com.

We keep the email address, any interests you selected, signup status, consent notice version and timestamps, optional campaign/source tags, and the IP address and browser details needed for security and abuse prevention. Link secrets are kept only as one-way hashes. A minimal reminder attempt record holds an internal signup ID, campaign, delivery state and timestamps so a pending person is not sent the same reminder twice.

The waitlist database is hosted on Hodfords infrastructure in the United States. Flat4Audio confirmation, reminder and unsubscribe messages are sent from support@flat4audio.com using the Hodfords SMTP relay with Flat4Audio domain signing. Earlier waitlist emails may have been delivered by Resend, which processed their destination address and message content. The email does not transfer your waitlist data or consent to the UK store.

Pending, unconfirmed signup records are deleted after 30 days. Confirmed profiles are kept until you unsubscribe, or for 24 months after the latest consent or confirmation without renewed engagement. Campaign tags, IP address and browser details are removed after 12 months. Used or expired link tokens are deleted promptly. On unsubscribe we scrub profile details and keep only the minimum opt-out evidence needed to honour your choice. The reminder attempt record is deleted with its signup.
